“Where Will Adrien Rabiot, Angel Di Maria, and Leandro Paredes Play Next Season? A Look at Their Potential Destinations”

At the end of the 2022-2023 season, Adrien Rabiot, Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes will leave Juventus. But to go where? GOAL takes stock.

As the season comes to an end, Juventus are preparing to shake up their squad next summer and their coach, Massimiliano Allegri, should be the first victim.

The new Juventus project will also be without three players, Adrien Rabiot, Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes, who will all leave the club at the end of the championship. But where will these three players play next season?

Adrien Rabiot in the sights of MU and Bayern

At the end of the contract on June 30, Adrien Rabiot will leave Juventus at least an unlikely turnaround. Juventus would have liked to keep the French midfielder who has been exceptional this year (46 matches in all competitions, 11 goals and 6 assists) but the latter wants to discover a new championship. The Turin club also recognizes that it has had no contact with Véronique Rabiot, the player’s mother and agent, for many weeks.

This new championship could be the Premier League with the Manchester United club. The two parties were already in discussions last summer without reaching an agreement. Rabiot still appeals to Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils coach and the prospect of playing in the Champions League next season is an argument in favor of the Mancunians.

Another track leads Rabiot to the Bundesliga. Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic was on the hunt for a No.6 and had targeted the Frenchman. But he has just been relieved of his duties after obtaining the title in the Bundesliga, which cools the Bavarian track.

Angel Di Maria hesitates between Europe and Saudi Arabia

Free of any contract last summer after leaving PSG, Angel Di Maria signed up for a season with Juventus. And there won’t be a second and that won’t bother the Turin club or the player who never managed to forge an idyllic relationship.

According to our colleagues from GOAL Italia, “ADM” is studying the possibility of staying in Europe or going to an exotic destination like Saudi Arabia. At 35, the player gives priority to his family and the choice of his future club will depend on the development of his wife and children.

Leandro Paredes back at PSG who no longer wants it…

Loaned by PSG to Juventus on August 31, 2022, the Italian club will not exercise the option to buy the rough Argentine defensive midfielder. It must be said that the 2022 world champion has not lived up to expectations in Serie A and the Champions League and internally, the leaders regret having loaned the young Italian hopeful Nicolò Rovella to Monza throughout the season.

Paredes will therefore return to France but PSG are not counting on him. His age (32) and his emoluments (7 million euros per year) make him a weight for the Parisian club. Under contract until June 2024, he will not be retained if a satisfactory offer arises.
