“When do the Czechs play? Program for the 2023 WC Women’s Hockey” – Sport.cz

At last year’s championship, which was held in Denmark during an unusual holiday period, the Czech national team went through Group B without losing a single point. In the quarterfinals, the Czech team faced Finland, which the excited Czechs defeated in overtime with a score of 2:1.

Subsequently, however, they lost to their rivals from the USA in the semi-finals with a cruel score of 1:10. The historic success in the form of the first women’s hockey medal, which they deservedly won thanks to a 4:2 triumph over the Swiss, was all the more pleasant for the Czech hockey players.
