JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Head of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 Don Monardo discuss the possibility to publish patient data Covid-19 in the patient’s home environment.

According to Doni, this step is one way to prevent Covid-19 transmission.

“One thing that becomes our homework is all related to the problem of patient data, this Act does not allow patient data to be published, but if the data about who is infected with Covid-19 can be known by the surrounding environment, this will be very helpful so that the surrounding community can avoid it,” said Doni in a working meeting with Commission VIII at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (07/13/2020).

Doni said the proposal was published Covid-19 patient data this is not to create negative stigma in society.

However, it did not rule out the Task Force finding other solutions to assist field workers in protecting the public from Covid-19 transmission.

“With the provision of privacy protection for those affected by outbreaks or diseases, it is necessary to find a solution so that it will greatly assist field workers so as not to make other communities easily exposed,” Doni said.
