Karyanti revealed that the danger signs when a child has dengue fever can appear even after the third day, when the critical phase is actually happening.

“The temperature is dropping, the child is sleeping all the time, so that’s not a sign of danger. If the temperature drops, the child should be actively healthy. Karyanti added that persistent vomiting is a sign of danger because children can experience worsening dehydration. In this condition, the child may feel weak and just want to sleep.
