The application of goal messaging continues to work hard to offer us interesting improvements at a visual level, for which it will continue to introduce tweaks that little by little will give the application a more pleasant appearance in all its aspects, and why not, also a more practical profile. That is what we have learned now, that the messaging app is introducing visual changes, which, although they are not revolutionary, as a whole they are giving the app a more careful appearance.
Dark mode on desktop WhatsApp
It is another novelty that has been seen in the beta of this application. Because now if from Windows If you activate dark mode at certain times, it will also be applied to the messaging app. So much so that all chats will have a black backgroundas well as the central room, where all the chats are located.
In those cases, the white backgrounds will be replaced by that dark gray almost black. A dark mode that will always adapt to the preferences of the operating system, so it will only be active during the hours you have designated.
New view of voice calls
One of the great innovations has to do with voice calls, which now they change their Interface, showing in a much more visual way when there are several participants in them. As they have shared from WaBetaInfo, the new view will show us several windows with the different participants in the call, in which both the name and the profile photo will be shown, in such a way that it will be quite clear who the participants of the call are. called, and which ones are calling at any given time. Basically the most striking thing about this change are those sound waves that are added to each profile, and which are what we now also see when we receive a voice note.
Changes in the camera interface
We have also seen developments in the photo camera interface, which is now receiving a quite subtle facelift, and which by the way had been seen in some images a few weeks ago. Basically the photo reel that appeared at the bottom of the screen, above the shutter, is now integrated into the icon at the bottom left, which instead of showing the photos we have taken, the recent ones, actually gives us access to all the photos in our gallery, thus cleaning up the camera view and making it much more visually pleasing. It also changes the icon that switches between the rear and front cameras, although simply in appearance, nothing important.
As usual, these developments are hidden within the beta of WhatsApp, so little by little they will make the leap to the stable version in order to reach everyone. As we said, they are not revolutionary changes, but it is noticeable that the Meta app is taking more and more care of the appearance of the interface, which, after all, is what we perceive the most from it.
