WhatsApp is working on several updates for its users. It App owned by Meta Released a beta camera link for iOS and Android. In early September, WhatsApp replaced the Camera tab with a Community tab for some users in the WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS. The app is reportedly launching an alternative camera entry point for these users, WABetaInfo reports.
Earlier this month, the app released a new camera shortcut where the Camera tab was officially replaced by the Community tab. This feature was released in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android 2.22.20.4 update.
However, in the next update, WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.20.5, the instant messaging app removed the camera shortcut update due to an error and it also shows up to users who still have the camera card.
If the new update is not visible, it means that it is not available for your WhatsApp account. In this case, the user will have to wait for a future update. “Also, to see the new camera shortcuts you need the ability to create a community: if you still can’t create a community, you will have to wait for future updates again,” wrote WABetaInfo. The update was only released for some iOS and Android beta users, and more activations are expected in future new users.
