A new beta version has been released for users of the desktop version of WhatsApp on Windows, which supports a feature that has already become standard for many mobile users. In the future you will also be able to pause voice messages on the PC.
So far, in the PC version it is only possible to stop the process when recording a voice message. Then you can listen to the message, send it or delete it. Pausing and continuing the recording or cropping is not provided in the current version.
However, that will change in the future. Beta testers can now use the new feature in the latest version 2.2223.11.70. When the function will be released for everyone else is still open.
Messenger providers have also given WhatsApp new privacy features. This allows you, for example, to hide your profile picture from selected contacts.
