Michael Giacchino finds Matt Reeves after “Cloverfield” (2008), “Let me in” (2010), “Planet of the Apes: Confrontation” (2014), “Planet of the Apes: Supremacy” (2017), and succeeds Danny Elfman, Elliot Goldenthal, Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard and Junkie XL at the batman’s desk. The score is epic and romantic to translate the emotions of the superhero with a rich thematic construction. It takes up the air of Ave Maria by Schubert in one of the themes.
