In the registers of the USPTO, we now discover another patent (a first had been filed in 2019) on the famous Apple logo settings. Indeed, the latter could be endowed with « decorative features », and change color or appearance.
In the document, Cupertino returns to the techniques that could be used. She is considering « layers of metal or ink, which can be used to form a logo » and covered with a transparent element. The idea is to be able change the appearance via sensors and the system of the device in question.
But Apple wants to go beyond the simple aesthetic aspect (like matching the logo to his clothes). Indeed, the color – or the shape – could change for provide information, such as an incoming call, an SMS or an email, a calendar reminder, a dead battery or a predetermined event.
