What human food is safe for cats and dogs? – NBC New York (47)

NEW YORK — Most pet owners have seen their pets looking like they want to eat whatever they cook in the kitchen or at dinnertime.

Many people often melt with love at the sight of their pets’ eyes and end up giving them a bite of what they have. That’s why it’s a good idea to know what’s safe and what’s not safe for your dog (or cat) to eat.

When you serve any type of meat or fish to your pet, it must be cooked through and the bones removed. And even foods that we might associate as safe may actually be bad for them (grapes for dogs, milk for cats).
