In the statement underlining that the new YÖK is trusted to the competencies and abilities of the universities, the academic and professional sensitivities of the professors in their fields, and the love of teaching of the students, the following information was included:
“It is the right thing for YÖK to make arrangements at a high level after drawing the general framework on issues related to higher education, and then to carry out the process with monitoring, evaluation and inspection. We believe that while trying to increase access to higher education by giving importance to social justice and equal opportunities, on the other hand, we believe that it should be an institution that tries to prepare the conditions for science to take the society further by becoming a rising value in the society. With this new decision, we would like to reiterate that we are gradually restructuring the higher education system on the basis of continuous evolution. This process will continue.
