- First of all, it should be mentioned that WhatsApp details that this problem occurs since the previous account was not deleted and that is why some old information still persists in the system.
- In turn, the application tells that whoever is the owner of the old account can access the WhatsApp account that you activate on your phone with your new cell phone number.
- And finally, the highlighted one tells that your WhatsApp conversations and data are safe.
In order to fix it quickly, what you should do is send an email to [email protected]. Afterwards, they will verify if said WhatsApp account was not useful in a period of 45 days of inactivity. If this is confirmed, the account will be deleted and you will be able to access as normal to register your number.
