Parents of children up to 7 years old can schedule a test appointment via 0800 – 1202. The GGD will then schedule more time for a test. Child-friendly employee

Young Child Testing Policy
It is of course not mandatory, but the current policy for children now is that the GGD also tests children without complaints if someone in the class or group has tested positive for corona. In fact, children in the classroom should then be quarantined for ten days and have them tested after five days. If the test result is negative, he or she may be taken out of quarantine again.
Schools and day care centers are not allowed to require children to take a corona test. If you choose not to have your child tested, ten days at home quarantine is mandatory. As mentioned above: children from 0 to 4 years old are allowed to go to daycare or a childminder with a cold. However, this is no longer allowed if the child has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for corona. For children aged 4 to 12 who go to primary school or daycare, they stay at home with all the complaints associated with corona, even if it only concerns a cold.
