What are the free games in January 2021

Like every month, Microsoft presents new games for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One that will be offered as part of Games with Gold for sweating Xbox Live . In addition to your subscription that allows you to play online, have access to exclusive content, special promotions on some games and some DLC, you have free access to various games.

For the month of January 2021, Microsoft offered you dares, as always, to four new games with two Xbox One games, one Xbox 360 game and one original Xbox game.

These four games will be available from January 1, 2021 to February 15, 2021. Please note that all four games are collectible and compatible on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One.

Little Nightmares (Xbox One, available January 1-31, 2021)

Little Nightmares is a dark and whimsical tale that will confront you with your childhood fears. Meet Six, a girl in her yellow coat who will have to escape from “The Maw”, a huge and mysterious ship inhabited by strange characters in search of their next meal!

Dead Rising (Xbox One, available January 16 – February 15, 2021)

With Dead Rising, you will face a completely crazy video game that will offer you to survive for 72 hours by any means possible in a zombie-infested shopping mall. All in 1080p, 60FPS in a remastered version!

The King of Fighters XIII (Xbox 360, available January 1-15, 2021)

If you are a fan of retro fighting games, The King of Fighters XIII could satisfy you in January! An Xbox 360 game that joins the list of backward compatible games on Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S.

Breakdown (Xbox, available January 16-31, 2021)

As for the retro game for this month of January 2021, you can discover (or rediscover) Breakdown. A game in which you play as Derrick Cole, a character endowed with superpowers who is locked in a laboratory and who will try by all means to escape.

Just connect to your Xbox One or Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S system and go to “Microsoft Store”, then in the Gold category. The games of the month will be available here on the 1st and 16th of each month.
