MediaTek also introduced the Dimensity 1300 chipset targeting the mid-range market.
MediaTek itself designed the Dimensity 1300 with 6nm fabrication and already supports 5G internet with better performance.
The Dimensity 1300 is built with a CPU of four performance cores and four efficiency cores. The four performance cores consist of one Arm Cortex-A78 ultra-core with a clock speed of 3GHz and three Arm Cortex-A78 super-cores up to 2.6GHz.
While the four efficiency cores are Arm Cortex-A55 up to 2GHz. The CPU is paired with an Arm Mali-G77 GPU and a MediaTek APU 3.0 for AI capabilities.
The HDR-ISP Dimensity 1300 supports phone camera resolutions up to 200MP. With new AI enhancements, this chip makes night photography even better and HDR capabilities for image clarity.
This system on chip (SoC) also supports 4K HDR Video recording with 3-Exposure Fusion and supports high refresh rates without sacrificing battery power. Then there is the MediaTek 5G UltraSave feature to save power if you use 5G internet too much.
There is also MediaTek’s HyperEngine 5.0 feature to offer a balance between performance and power when used for gaming. These processors will be coming soon in the first quarter of 2022.
