I have worked with Nicoletta for twenty years, practically for my entire career. It is in my heart and will always be.

When did you first meet her?

The first time I saw her, when I arrived in Rai (I had recently joined, in 1974, but Nicoletta had already been there since the 1950s), for me it was like meeting a legend. I saw her there and I said to myself: “Oh my God, I’ll call her her.” I was excited because for me it was “the” television.

What teaching did he leave you?
–
She was like our boss, let’s say. She always tried to be very precise and demanded precision from us as well. In Rai at that time they were very strict, you could not delay. Even though we made three thousand programs, we were employees, we had to stamp the time card. For us she was the example of the polite and correct person. They also told us in Rai: we went into everyone’s homes and we had to be their business card.

What was it like outside the studio?

He was a person who made lunch for everyone. When we finished doing this work, we Miss Good evening met on several occasions, in the restaurant under Nicoletta’s house, or right at her house, or at Rosanna Vaudetti’s.

Yes, we went to her for her 90th birthday. Then Nicoletta and I met a few more times, she and Rosanna came together to visit me in Tarvisio, where I live. For me it was a great gift. I drove her to Slovenia as we are close to the border. He was always very happy. Unfortunately, in recent times, due to the pandemic, I have not yet fallen in Rome and we have not seen each other recently.

A strong bond has been created between you heralds
–
We have worked so many hours together, how can you not feel each other, not remember, not find each other. Now I am receiving many phone calls because Nicoletta was in everyone’s heart, to see her always so perky, strong, it seems impossible that she is gone. As always happens when we lose a loved one.

I was watching the flights because I would like to be there, unfortunately there is only one at half past six in the morning. I will do everything to be there and if I do not succeed I will be there with my heart.
