Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – The late summer weather of the past few days will continue into the coming week. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), temperatures in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland rise to up to 28 degrees during the day. Even at high altitudes, 23 degrees are expected. “High Hermelinde” will also determine our weather in the next few days, “said a DWD meteorologist in Offenbach on Saturday.

How long the picture book weather will last is still unclear. At least: At the beginning of the new week, according to the DWD, another high-pressure zone is forming that extends from the British Isles to Eastern Europe – and this appears “initially stable,” said the meteorologist.
