Gibson nevertheless hopes that something that is not always a matter of course for anglers. He wishes another angler could outsmart his record musky again in a few months. Maybe even with more weight. “Imagine how cool it would be if another angler caught this fish in the fall and set a new state record,” he said. Yeager reportedly worked with the West Virginia Fisheries Department to develop fish habitats in the area where he caught the capital musky.
