West Sumatra Covid-19 Data 28 June 2020: Added 3 positives from Bukittinggi, Sijunjung and Agam

Langgam.id – After a few weeks there were no positive cases, Bukittinggi, Sijunjung and Agam recorded each new Covid-19 case on Sunday (6/28/2020) morning. With these three new cases, the total positive cases in West Sumatra have reached 725 people, including those who have recovered.

Spokesman of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Covid-19 of West Sumatra Province Jasman Rizal said, the three positive cases were found from the examination of 885 swab samples sent survailance various hospitals in West Sumatra.

“While up to 05.00 WIB positive samples were confirmed as many as 3 people, who came from: 1 person from Bukittinggi City, 1 person from Sijunjung Regency and 1 person from Agam Regency,” he said, in a written statement on Sunday morning.

The swab sample was examined by the Integrated Disease Disease Diagnostic and Research Laboratory team of the Andalas University Faculty of Medicine (858 samples) and the Baso Region II Veterinary Investigation and Testing Center (27 samples). Both laboratories are under the responsibility of Dr. dr. Andani Eka Putra, M.Sc.

With the addition of one positive case in Bukittinggi, Sijunjung and Agam, each of the three regencies and cities that had no positive cases the day before, again had a Covid-19 case.

In addition to positive cases, according to him, it was also confirmed while the number of people recovering increased by 4 people. Thus, the total population of posar positive infected covid-19 today is 725 people. The details, recovered 585 people (80.69%), died 31 people (4.27%) and were hospitalized, quarantine and independent isolation as many as 109 people (15.03%).

“For information and other details and or if there are data changes, we will convey this evening in full,” said Jasman.
