MIMIKA – The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) futsal team successfully added a bronze medal at the National Sports Week (PON) XX Papua 2021 on Sunday (3/10/2021) noon WIB. NTB managed to get a bronze medal from the futsal (sports) sport after defeating the East Java (Jatim) team with a score of 5-1 in the match for the third position.
Previously, NTB failed to reach the final because it lost 0-1 to West Java, while East Java lost by a landslide score of 1-5 to Papua. From the results of the semifinals, NTB was then the champion and sure enough they were able to bring East Java to its knees in the bronze medal match.
The course of the match
The game has only lasted three minutes NTB has given a threat from dangerous opportunities. As a result, M. Fajrin Akbar managed to break the deadlock after welcoming a cross from his partner.
East Java has repeatedly tried to avenge their backwardness. Various attempts ranging from long-range kicks, foot-to-foot games, to gastric passes they played but were still deadlocked.
Instead of equalizing, they conceded a second goal. Again, through short passes in front of the goalkeeper, Makrifatul Amri was able to convert them into goals. Score 2-0 for NTB.
The game was getting faster and more interesting after 10 minutes after the goal earlier. But again NTB appeared more violent to the point that Romi Humandri was able to vibrate the East Java goal for the third time.
