The vague hopes of the Brazilian central defender Naldo for a return to the Bundesliga club Werder Bremen have been dashed.
“We have at least four central defenders under contract in the new season. We are also in the process of rejuvenating the team. So a return is not an issue, ”said Werder sports director Frank Baumann picture-Newspaper.
Naldo offered to help
The currently clubless Naldo (37) had brought a return to Werder into play during the week. He was not averse if there was any interest on the part of Bremen, he said in the interview Sky Sport News HD.

Naldo had previously played with Baumann; in 2009 the two won the DFB Cup together. In 2012, the Brazilian moved to VfL Wolfsburg and then to Schalke 04. Most recently, he played for French first division club AS Monaco, but his contract there was terminated in January.
