A well-known American antivaxxer was hospitalized last week with severe pneumonia caused by Covid-19. He died last Wednesday from the effects of the virus.

Harmon was a well-known member of the Hillsong megachurch in California and proclaimed to his thousands on Twitter that he did not need the Covid vaccine. In June he wrote that he has “99 problems but a vaccine is not among them.”
Last week, Harmon was hospitalized with severe pneumonia. According to foreign media, this was caused by an infection with the corona virus.
In the days before his death, Harmon posted several photos on social media about his struggle in the hospital bed. He had to be intubated. “Don’t know when I’ll wake up,” he added. “Even the smallest effort makes my heart race and I can’t live without oxygen.”
Harmon insisted that he didn’t want a vaccine. “My faith will protect me,” it sounded. but in the meantime he has lost the battle with Covid-19. Hillsong Church leader and founder Brian Houston is now calling on all members of his church community to listen to the doctors.(sgg)
