The US Energy Information Agency (EIA) reported that crude inventories rose by 1.694 million barrels last week. Specialists have forecast an average increase of 1.154 million barrels after the previous week’s 0.718 million. Gasoline stockpiles, for their part, decreased by 0.346 million barrels, the consensus expecting a decline of 0.486 million barrels. Inventories of distillate products, including heating oil, decreased by 1.427 million barrels versus a consensus of -0.396 million barrels.
