Week 23/20: VALORANT, Crucible Flop and EA’s return to Steam

Welcome to another Gaming-Grounds.de weekly review! In the past seven days from June 1 to June 7, 2020, there has been a lot of exciting news and topics related to gaming and e-sports. You can find out which messages and discussions particularly moved and concerned you and us in “Die Woche 23/20”.

Of course, the focus was again on the official VALORANT release of the Riot Games Shooter. Both the launch and patch 1.0 itself, as well as the other game modes already announced, are unchallenged at the top. But the reviving cooperation between EA and Steam was also well received by our readers.

The Xbox One X in Cyberpunk 2077 design, which was released for sale on Friday and sold out for a few hours on Friday, also attracted special attention and excitement. It came with some exciting extras and is now being traded for a multiple of the original price. Amazon Games can also chalk up the flop of the week with their shooter “Crucible”, which is no longer even on the top 500 games on Steam and only has a few hundred simultaneous players.

5. Crucible: Amazon’s team shooter flops

Amazon actually wanted to really get going with its own studio and self-published games this year. With Shooter Crucible, this apparently did not succeed:

4. Xbox One X in Cyberpunk Design – sold out again

The Xbox One X Cyberpunk 2077 Edition not only looks exciting, the inserts of the bundle also aroused keen interest among buyers, who swept away the contingent from all providers last Friday within a few hours:
