Yesterday, on the feast day of Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus, the Santa Teresa Healthcare Center signed a collaboration agreement with Ravenna 33, to offer citizens a wider choice of professionals and health services, with easier and faster bookings quick. In this way, the activities of two similar but complementary realities that intend to grow together come together: on the one hand, a historic structure, in via Don Lolli 20, which has made sociality and professionalism a flagship; on the other, a modern center, in via Secondo Bini 1, which is investing more and more in innovation and technology.
Overall, over 110 doctors and health professionals and 45 employees and collaborators are involved. In recent years Ravenna 33, which boasts a newly designed structure located in a strategic position at the western access of the city, has undergone an important evolution. Initially, the orthopedics and rehabilitation sector were certainly the beating heart of the project, thanks to the large swimming pools, equipped open-space spaces, the latest generation electro-medical equipment and modern patient approach techniques even in specific sectors such as that of ‘ Post-operative cardiological rehabilitation, still little known and used in the province. Today other strategic sectors are gradually assuming importance for the ‘scientific’ growth of the structure and fundamental for the health of patients such as, for example, cardiology, structured as a real department, and diagnostic imaging (radiology, resonance, etc.), which also includes highly technological tools including a latest generation mammography unit, a state-of-the-art operating room just inaugurated, the day surgery day hospital.
“Over the years, we have invested heavily in organization and technological equipment for health – says Gaetano Cirilli, CEO of the Ravenna 33 Health Center – and we aim to become, together with the Santa Teresa Health Center, a point of reference for the city. Thus, as to provide a concrete aid to the public health care system which, although excellent in our healthcare company, needs the contribution of the private sector to meet the growing needs of the population. In this reference framework, we shared with the Work of Santa Teresa the ways of exercising the activity and the theme of ‘corporate social responsibility’, always important but fundamental in our field of action for the delicacy of the health issue “.
