Weather disturbed over Italy, new rains and storms coming
Weather – Le weather conditions are definitely unstable on ‘Italy, especially northern, at this beginning of the day; many clouds are present on most of the regions, with phenomena taking place between Piedmont, Lombardy and Liguria. During second part of the day new heavy thunderstorms will particularly affect the sectors north of the Po, with possible new storms and hail; therefore, the anomalous unstable circulation in southern Europe continues, responsible for heavy storms and storms that interested in the day of yesterday the Veneto.
Veneto Weather: worsening weather, new heavy storms coming
Weather – Today’s day opened with average dry weather on the Veneto, albeit with clouds leaning over the northern sectors; however the circulation remains unstable, with humid ocean currents ready to bring a new one intense worsening in next hours over the whole region. Rains and temporal the main protagonists will return in the second half of the day, when locally intense phenomena may occur, in particular in the central and northern sectors. After the violent cloudburst that hit Padua is Verona on the day of yesterday, new heavy storms are ready to report a wave of bad weather in the two Venetian cities.
Prolonged bad weather phase, heavy rains also in the next days
Weather – The bad weather phase will affect Northern Italy also in the coming days, when they are expected new intense disturbances harbingers of abundant rains and thunderstorms. Veneto will still be one of the regions most affected by bad weather even tomorrow; since the morning, in fact, the skies will be very cloudy with scattered phenomena, locally of strong intensity and of a thunderstorm character. The occasional disturbance of instability will continue also in the second part of the day and for most of the week, when heavy rains and local storms will still be possible. The phenomena, given the summer season, will be irregular in nature, therefore with rather uneven accumulations; it is not uncommon, in fact, to have in a limited space radius areas hit by heavy thunderstorms and others left at the margins. Violent storms yesterday over Padua and Verona, heavy damage
The humid and unstable circulation that is characterizing this first part of the month of June, is penalizing in particular the Veneto region, affected on several occasions by locally extreme phenomena; it is news yesterday, Saturday 6 June, of violent storms that between the late afternoon and the early hours of the evening affected several places in the Veneto. Among the most affected are the provinces of Padua is Verona, where two distinct storm structures, evolved into supercells, have caused intense rains, hailstorms and gusts of wind. Rainfall accumulations of over 30 mm in a short time, but with peaks of 60 mm in the Veronese area have literally thrown the two cities into tilt. The medium-large size hail hit in particular in the Paduan area, where it is estimated huge damages to the corn crops.
