Weather Update: Scattered Thunderstorms and Rainfall Predicted for Tomorrow with a Drop in Temperatures – Elnashra.com

The Department of Estimates at the Meteorological Authority stated that “Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean are under the influence of an air depression, which carries with it rain, snow, thunderstorms and active winds, and its effect continues until Monday evening, after which it turns into volatile,” noting that “the average temperature for a month March between 13 and 21.7 degrees Celsius.

And it indicated in its evening bulletin, “The expected weather in Lebanon tomorrow, Sunday, is partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with fog at the heights, and an additional drop in temperatures that become below their seasonal averages. Scattered rains fall, sometimes heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms and active winds with a speed of about 55 km.” /S, as snow falls, starting from an altitude of 1,600 meters, and the level of precipitation at night decreases to the limits of 1,400 meters.

And the Department of Estimates pointed out, “The expected weather on Monday is partly cloudy to cloudy, with fog at the heights and a slight rise in temperatures. Scattered rain falls, sometimes accompanied by lightning and thunder, and snow falls in the morning, starting from an altitude of 1,500 meters, then the level of precipitation increases during the day with higher temperatures.” The temperature reaches 1,700 meters and above, and the weather turns to partly cloudy in the evening, and the rain subsides.”

And it indicated that “the weather expected on Tuesday is partly cloudy, with fog on the heights, and an additional rise in temperatures. The evening weather will turn cloudy, with the possibility of local light rain, sometimes accompanied by lightning and thunder, and some snow at an altitude of 1900 meters and above.”

It also reported that “the surface winds are southwesterly at times, with speeds between 15 and 50 km/h, the swelling is medium on the coast and gets worse at heights due to fog and precipitation, the relative humidity on the coast is between 65 and 85%, the sea is agitated, and the water surface temperature is 18 degrees Celsius.”
