Mainz (dpa / lrs) – The people in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland can look forward to friendly weather again on Sunday. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), the day will be bright to cloudy with maximum temperatures between 14 and 16 degrees. On Monday night, fog can appear locally. According to the meteorologists, lowest values are between 6 degrees in the northwest and 3 degrees in the southeast, where frost can also form locally near the ground.
Monday starts cloudy with mostly short sunny sections on the Saar, Moselle and Rhine. According to the DWD, rain and showers must be expected during the day. Maximum temperatures should be between 11 and 16 degrees. During the night, clouds gather, it could rain locally, it was also said by the meteorologists. The temperatures cool down to values between 8 and 5 degrees.
On Tuesday there were initially a lot of clouds over both federal states, plus it was raining. Later loosen it up, the temperatures reached values between 10 and 14 degrees. In some areas there are strong gusts, which, according to the DWD, decrease again in the afternoon and evening.
