Weather: Next Hours, Strong Imminent Deterioration! Let’s see where it hits tonight

First signs of worsening by evening

The weather is about to get worse in many regions of our country and the first signs will already be noticed by evening.

Italy continues to experience a spring weather context despite the calendar indicating that we are still in the astronomical winter. In fact, the weather remains fairly stable and above all very mild for the period and this is also thanks to a high pressure promontory which partially extends from North Africa to the Mediterranean basin.

It will be just a partial failure of the high pressure that will grant to one disturbance Atlantic to pass through our country also fueled by the formation of a cyclonic vortex which from north to south will cross the entire peninsula. In next hours the weather will begin to give i first signs that something is changing. Starting in the afternoon, the clouds will begin to increase starting from the Central-Western Alpine reliefs and from the North-West regions. These will be the sectors where the first rains and also the first snowfalls on the Alpine hills will be recorded already in the evening at altitudes on average close to 1200/1300m.

We can see it very well from the map that we offer below centered precisely for the day of Monday 13 March and where in the colored areas of rosa the distribution of is represented snowfall while in the colored ones of blu are represented rains foreseen.

It should be noted that in these areas the rainfall will tend to intensify especially during the night.

On the other hand, in the rest of the country, the weather will continue to maintain connotations of reiterated stability and only from the next 24 hours will the weather get worse. Tuesday 14 in fact it will be one very capricious day over a large part of the country with the return of heavy rains and equally important snowfalls on the Alpine hills.
But we will give you more details about this in the next updates.
