It is just another confirmation of the role that social networks play in today’s and tomorrow’s world. The Czech technology company Socialbakers is connecting with the American software company Astute, so that together they can offer customers around the world an even better shopping experience.

“The opportunity is huge, we have been building a marketing platform here a few years since our foundation and we wanted to connect marketing even more with customer care. We have been thinking about this connection for a long time, because Astute is active in the latter area, “explains Nikola Pantovič, Executive Vice President of Socialbakers for Trade and International Expansion, in an interview.

It now has more than 2,500 clients in 100 countries.

It is the most used platform for social media management.

In 2011, the company received the title of Facebook Marketing Partner.

Since 2017, it has been an official partner company for Pinterest and LinkedIn.

The purchased company is larger than the new owner

But Socialbakers does not expect any significant changes within the company. He currently has a team of 500 people, the American company Astute, which bought the Socialbakers, has about 130 of them.

And through them it buys Socialbakers, so it is absolutely new capital, which helps to unite these two companies, “comments the sale of Pantovič.

Socialbakers trades data from social networks

Socialbakers have been thinking for two years that organic growth alone is not enough, and they have been communicating with the Audax Private Equity fund for almost a year. Although the companies did not disclose the exact price of the acquisition, according to experts, it must have been a deal in the order of billions of crowns.

“We work in marketing on social networks. On the one hand, it is data that we collect on individual social networks: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and others. Through this data, we then provide our customers – marketing departments, with statistics that they further use for the application, creating content for their customers and fans on the given social networks, “describes the focus of the platform Nikola Pantovič.

Socialbakers, a platform for the management of social networks and marketing with the principles of artificial intelligence and founded in the Czech Republic, is currently used by more than 2,500 multinational companies and medium-sized brands worldwide.
