Sustained growth, hand in hand with the generation of reliable and quality information, led to the need to increase the groups to receive more readers. Since August 1, 2018 LA OPINION began to offer the free news service through WhatsApp. In just one week the first group, “La Opinión Noticias 1” was completed and for this reason “La Opinión Noticias 2” was immediately launched. And a few weeks later the third group was created, “La Opinion Noticias 3”. In February 2019 we opened the fourth group, in March 2020 the fifth and in mid-May of last year we opened the sixth. Today, at the request of users, we welcome the seventh group and those who wish to join.
This growth speaks of the faithful accompaniment of LA OPINION readers / users, who once again choose to be communicated by receiving reliable information, from the Newsroom to their Smartphones, about what is happening in the city.
News from Pergamino and the region can be read for more than 100 years in the traditional format of the LA OPINION newspaper, through the website (www.laopinionpergamino.com.ar), which has 130 thousand monthly visits.
Also from the social network Facebook (laopinionpergamino), from Instagram (laopinionpergamino), from Twitter (laopinionpergamino) and since 2018 also through WhatsApp.
How to join?
If they are connected from a computer, clicking on any of the links mentioned below will open a tab on WhatsApp Web inviting them to join the groups “La Opinión Noticias 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7”. You just have to click the green button and “Join the chat” and you will be receiving the news service daily.
On the other hand, if they are browsing from a Smartphone, they must click on the link, then a link will open in the WhatsApp application with the option “Join the group”.
To consider
In the seven existing groups there are only two administrators, cell phones with numbers + 54-9-2477-654704 and + 54-9-2477-655441. We recommend scheduling these two numbers as LA OPINION numbers. Both belong to the Newsroom and are only enabled to send the news, not for calls or messages, so we recommend contacting the usual lines: 417755/56/57.
Subscribing to a single group is enough, it is not necessary to join all groups since the information that reaches each one is the same and at the same time.
A service
LA OPINION wants this group to be a service and not a nuisance. That is why we made the decision to limit the possibilities of sending only to administrators and define a daily number of messages.
In addition, as in any group, each user can silence the notifications so that they do not disturb the messages when they enter. How? Open WhatsApp and enter the group. In the upper right, press the three dots and choose “Mute notifications” and then for how long.
In addition, each time the invitation link is shared to the groups, it can be forwarded to whoever wants to join.
