Announcement of the results of the third stage of the 18th Chopin Competition

From October 3 this year. 87 pianists from all over the world competed to qualify for the next stage of the 18th Chopin Competition.

The jury, headed by Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, qualified the following participants to the finals:

Throughout the competition, the participants’ performances are assessed an international jury composed of 17 outstanding representatives of world pianism: Dmitri Alexeev, Sa Chen, Dang Thai Son, Akiko Ebi, Philippe Giusiano, Nelson Goerner, Adam Harasiewicz, Krzysztof Jabłoński, Kevin Kenner, Arthur Moreira-Lima, Janusz Olejniczak, Piotr Paleczny, Ewa Pobłocka, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, John Rink , Wojciech Świtała and Dina Yoffe.

The final of the 18th International Competition Frederic Chopin will start on October 18 and run until October 20. Competition auditions will be held from 18.00. This time, the pianists will face a performance challenge Concerto fortepianowego in E minor op. 11 or Concerto fortepianowego in F minor op. 21.

18th International Piano Competition Frederic Chopin will last until October 23, 2021.
