Taking advantage of a climate conference (Austrian World Summit) organized by his foundation, the objective of which is to connect actors from politics, civil society and business in order to create a broad alliance for climate protection , the man says: “we have blood on our hands because we are financing the war”.

The American politician focused in particular on the cost of this conflict which pits several Western powers against Russia. “Just look at this tragedy in Ukraine. We were all horrified by the images we see on the news every night. But let’s be honest with ourselves. The 1,300 missiles that Russia launched at Ukrainian cities during the first two months of the war cost 7.7 billion euros”he says at first in the video.
