“We expect an armed coup from Zaluzhny”: the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are moving towards Avdeevka, which is not reported in the reports – 2024-02-10 14:49:29

/ world today news/ The Western press writes about what the Ukrainian military is doing and what the authorities in Kiev are doing. The Russian armed forces in Avdeevka are repeating the scenario from Bakhmut. Reports from the SVO fronts and other news.

In the Avdeev direction, the Russian army is advancing on the side of the “Ivanushka” horticultural association. In the city, our troops are advancing in the area of ”Nezavisimost” Street, “Sapronov” Street and “Zheleznodorozhny” Street. Now the Russian armed forces are consolidating west of the railway bridge, the enemy is launching desperate counterattacks. From the air, the Russian infantry is supported by aviation. Dozens of powerful homing bombs with a correction module fall on the heads of enemies.

Military expert Boris Rozhin noted that the Ukrainian armed forces are trying to prevent our assault groups from reaching the garrison’s key logistics supply line. His loss will hasten Avdeevka’s downfall.

In addition, there are reports that the Ukrainian military still does not have the Starlink satellite Internet, which is actively used by drones. The range of Russian electronic warfare systems reaches 12 km. Then the Internet more or less works, but there are also problems. At the same time, the enemy in the city is also experiencing problems with mobile communications. In this way, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost the centralized command and control of the troops in Avdeevka.

The Ukrainian armed forces today have no purpose. They only have a way. And he leads them back across the river. They dig graves all day. They are buried around Kiev, on the Kharkov side, in Nikolaev. Millions of dollars are now spent on fortifications. They are becoming less and less, therefore the panic is growing. Avdeevka is holding on to the “meat” because they don’t have time, then there is, roughly speaking, a large field – and there you have it and the Dnieper. For now it’s meat against meat. But we are more experienced and powerful after Bakhmut,— writes the Telegram channel Condottiero.

Avdeevka risks falling in the near future. In this case, it will become the first city liberated by Russian troops after Bakhmut. The American publication Forbes writes about this, traditionally blaming the Republicans for the failures of the armed forces of Ukraine, which supposedly deprive Ukraine of ammunition:

They will not be able to say that they did not know that it was because of their stubbornness and insubordination that the Ukrainian stormtroopers would die in the frozen trenches because the guns were silenced. The VSU units in and around Avdiivka saw their arsenals being emptied as early as December – about a month and a half after the Republicans began blocking aid.

Mercenary complaints

Russia has an endless supply of military equipment and soldiers, writes Bild, citing the words of a German mercenary who is fighting in the ranks of the Ukrainian army. He explained the failures of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front with the fact that the West hesitated for too long in making decisions to support Kiev.

This led to the fragmentation of military aid. It is the insufficient support, the uncoordinated actions of the Ukrainian army and the power of the Russian armed forces that led to the complete failure of the counteroffensive, he believes.

Meanwhile, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is trying to solve the problem of shortage of personnel by importing mercenaries from Latin American countries. The most numerous among them are the Colombians. In terms of number of legionnaires destroyed by the Russians, they are also in first place. These are mostly retired soldiers from the Colombian army. In Ukraine they are paid over three thousand dollars. This is the only motive for them to go and fight on Russian lands.

Military correspondent Yevgeny Linin recalled that Colombia has the second largest army in Latin America. Every year, up to ten thousand soldiers retire there:

The advantage for Kiev in hiring ex-Colombian military personnel is their basic military skills, low cost and a large number of people willing to make money. But they are not professional enough and have low motivation. The language barrier also gets in the way.

Window of opportunity

Ukrainian army personnel are ruined and exhausted. There is a growing shortage of men in the trenches. Even those who are well over 50 are being sent to the front. Meanwhile, in Kiev, there are reshuffles in the leadership of the country, and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, has been fired, reports CNN.

Amid the political upheaval, Kyiv is preparing a new mobilization law. Authorities are promising to make military service more attractive and allow people to leave the army after three years. However, ordinary people do not believe them, calling it an illusion. There will be no demobilization.

Do you remember how many people did not believe that a conflict between Zelensky and Zaluzhny was really brewing in Ukraine? Here it is – it has already matured, it has broken through and will give consequences. We, of course, expect an armed coup by Zaluzhny and subsequent capitulation.

This is much more interesting than going to London and criticizing the current government in Kiev from there. However, Zaluzhny can also be connected to the Volga channel. Right now we must attack the APU with all available force. The window of opportunity will be short– notes the military correspondent Alexei Zhivov.

Meanwhile, the American publication Politico, referring to the Ukrainian military, writes that the new commander-in-chief Alexander Sirsky is extremely unpopular among ordinary soldiers. He is called “the butcher” and “General 200” because of his tendency to risk the lives of soldiers.

At the same time, the appointment of a new commander-in-chief is unlikely to bring positive results for Ukraine on the battlefield. Sirsky was the head of the Ukrainian armed forces during the defense of Bakhmut, when a huge number of Ukrainian soldiers died.

Apparently history can repeat itself. The major Ukrainian Telegram channel “Resident”, citing sources in the General Staff, reports that Sirsky has begun transferring reserves to Avdiivka to break through the city’s encirclement. He wants to fulfill his promise to the president.

The new commander-in-chief, unlike Zaluzhny, does not oppose Vladimir Zelensky’s decisions and will try to the last to keep Avdiivka as a new symbol of resistance.

Political scientist Yury Yakor, in a conversation with a Tsargrad correspondent, noted: the last thing Zelensky needs now is a popular commander-in-chief of Ukraine’s armed forces. He will take care of the people, not the machinery and equipment, and this will call into question the whole business of stealing equipment and destroy the whole Ukrainian myth “we die, but we don’t give up”.

Also, the popular commander-in-chief can always try to stage a coup. At the level of the unloved commander, Zelensky will look like his boyfriend and lover. Finally, Sirsky’s parents live in Russia and you can always accuse him of treason. However, the bad commander of the enemy army is a chance to get more prisoners,– the expert thinks.
