Ambassador Ukraine for IndonesiaVasyl Hamianin, raise your voice regarding the invasion Russia against his country on Thursday (24/2).

Hamianin confirmed that Russia’s invasion of his country had been going on since early Thursday. Even so, he stressed that Ukrainians did not panic and vowed to be ready to fight against Russian aggression.

“In this opportunity, I want to say that no one in Ukraine is panicking. Ukraine is not panicking, Ukraine is ready. We will fight back until the end, victory,” Hamianin said in a virtual press conference, Thursday (24/2) afternoon.

Hamianin emphasized that the Ukrainian armed forces had been predicting the threat of Russian aggression for a long time.

Hamianin explained that Russia’s attack on Ukraine began in the east of his country, where Russia launched missiles and bombs into eastern Ukraine since Thursday morning at around 05.00 am.

This attack occurred not only in the eastern region, but throughout the country.

“This is happening all over Ukraine, not only in the east, but in the north, in the west and in the south. Also the Ukrainian military infrastructure. At the same time, they started artillery attacks in areas and settlements along the country’s borders,” Hamianin explained. .

Hamianin said the Ukrainian troops then responded to the Ukrainian military’s onslaught to defend themselves. He claimed that currently many Russian soldiers had died in battle.
