The National Art Gallery

The National Art Gallery It was born with the purpose of giving a focus of attention to Venezuelan talent and protects only national artists. Its infrastructure is one of the most beautiful in the entire city, it was designed by Carlos Gómez de Llarena and it is spectacular.
Within its collection it has works by Armando Reverón, our master of light, from paintings to prints and dolls. Before it was titled Museum of Contemporary Art Sofía Ímber and for all of us who know its story, it will always stay that way. ANDIt is an architectural gem that houses one of the largest collections of modern and contemporary art in Latin America. Inside the vault there are millions of treasures that explain the evolution of art and thought.
Great international artists live in the rooms of the MACC. It has the largest collection of works from Picasso’s Vallard Suite and also, one of Henri Matisse’s odalisques with red trousers. It is an extraordinary compendium that allows us to connect with what the world is around us and how it influences us every day.

Museum of Fine Arts

This is our oldest museum in Caracas and visiting it is a dream. A weeping willow tree greets you at the entrance along with lotus flowers accompanied by sculptures. It was founded in 1918 and was built by Carlos Raúl Villanueva.
In its spaces there is also the national cinematheque and has a collection of works from all over the world. It is separated into two parts: neoclassical complex and modern complex. This museum also has a spectacular garden that connects with Los Caobos Park. It is an ideal plan to learn about art and at the same time, walk through Caracas.

Sacred Museum of Caracas

This is one of the best kept secrets in the entire capital. It is as mysterious and spiritual as it is terrifying. The Sacred Museum of Caracas exhibits the history of Catholicism in our city and has all the characteristics to give you an unforgettable experience.
