The leak initially left half of the residents without water, later in the day this was still a third. Most people now have water, but the supply has not yet been restored to about twenty houses. These are houses in Sint-Rochusstraat where the leak was found. Residents can get water through a pipe connected to a fire hydrant.
The leak will be permanently repaired on Monday morning and everyone should have water again by Monday afternoon.
