The committee in charge of managing the Egyptian Football Association, headed by Amr El-Ganayni, held a meeting to discuss the procedures that must be available in the event of a resumption of football activity in the presence of the members of the five-member committee. Jamal Muhammad Ali, Vice-Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Ahmed Abdullah, Dr. Sahar Abdel Haq and Muhammad Fadl, members of the Committee and d. Muhammad Sultan, Chairman of the Medical Committee, Walid Al-Attar, Acting Executive Director and d. Mahmoud Saad, technical director of the Federation.
During the meeting, a number of “scenarios” of the return of activity were reviewed in light of the daily changes of the reports of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, in addition to the African Football Confederation’s letter inquiring about the possibility of resuming local activity. The meeting also reviewed the experience of a number of countries in this regard, and defining the role to be played It is done by the Federation in this regard.
And Dr. Muhammad Sultan, Chairman of the Medical Committee, during the meeting, presented an assessment of the risks of the return of the activity through an international model applied by the World Health Organization, before deciding on the decision to resume the activity, while Dr. Mahmoud Saad, the technical director of the federation, is a technical study that includes all aspects, while the member of the five-year committee, Muhammad Fadl, presented the return scenario after including a number of medical, administrative, and logistical aspects of play areas, residence hotels, and training pitches.
