Washington creates an office to serve migrants brought on buses

The capital of United States of America approved on Tuesday the creation of an office with which it seeks to help migrants who are arriving at bus capital paid by the governors of the southern states.

The Washington DC Council gave the green light to a bill that will create an agency dedicated to the reception, clothing, housing, economic assistance and urgent health care of the thousands of migrants who have arrived in the city since then Texas and Arizona.

The the city will award ten million dollars in order to start the project and will ask the federal government to reimburse the funds allocated to this new office, the mayor’s office said in a statement.

DC is not a border town, but we will not stand by and let pass the actions of those who want to create instability for people who seek a better life ”. Mayor Muriel Bowser said so.
