The Interstate Broadcasting Treaty (RStV) expired with effect from November 7, 2020. The federal states in Germany have newly regulated the rights and obligations of media providers in the State Media Treaty (MStV).
Anyone who has previously introduced the information on the person responsible for the editorial in the imprint of his website with “Responsible for content according to Section 55 Paragraph 2 RStV” must now adapt this wording so that it will read “Responsible for content according to Section 18 Paragraph 2 MStV” in future got to. First warnings for violating this information are already in circulation.
