VIVA – Toyota officially launched the latest type of Kijang Innova, the Innova TRD Sportivo. This car uses the addition of the Limited Edition name, which means that it is only made in limited numbers. The presence of Innova TRD Sportivo means that Toyota now has five types of Kijang Innova, after previously G, V, Q, and Venturer were present.
The appearance of this new car is different from the standard Innova, Toyota is installing a TRD body kit which includes front and rear bumpers, as well as sporty side skirts. The grille is also given an ornament to make it look different. Another addition is the 17-inch black rims, which were previously standard at the Innova Venturer.
“The Kijang Innova TRD Sportivo Limited variant is intended for customers who like MPV functionality, but also want to appear sporty, “Said the Marketing Director of PT Toyota Astra Motor, Anton Jimmi Suwandy at the launch.
The car has a fairly sophisticated new feature, namely the cabin air filter with the ability to filter out removable particle PM 2.5 or less. With this feature, passengers’ health will be better maintained.
In addition, there is also an Air Purifier or Integrated Air Purifier. This feature can work manually or automatically. When there is a decrease in air quality in the cabin, the appliance will immediately work to produce negative ions.
Although all of these changes are worth tens of millions of rupiah, the price tag of the Innova TRD Sportivo is only IDR 3.2 million different from the standard type. This car is marketed with prices starting from IDR 359 million, with status on the road Jakarta.
According to the official statement from Auto2000, quoted VIVA Automotive Friday, 21 August 2020, the new car is available at their dealership and can be purchased by cash or credit.
As an illustration, with a down payment of Rp. 100 million and a tenor of 5 years, consumers only need to pay installments for this car of around Rp. 5 million per month.
