Wang Yi Meets with Honduras Foreign Minister Reina-Xinhuanet
Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, November 1. On November 1, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Foreign Minister, met with Honduran Foreign Minister Reina in Beijing.
Wang Yi said that China is willing to work with Hong Kong to fully implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, jointly build the “Belt and Road” with high quality, and promote China-Hong Kong relations to achieve more tangible results. We welcome Honduras to participate in the 6th China International Import Expo as the guest country. We wish Hong Kong a complete success in participating in the exhibition. China is willing to create more opportunities for the export of Honduras’ specialty products to China.
Reina said that although Hong Kong-China relations started late, they have a bright future. Hong Kong firmly adheres to the one-China principle and is willing to take the opportunity of serving as the rotating chairmanship of the CELAC next year to promote new development of Latin America-China relations.
