Milan continued its revival in the Italian League, after achieving its second victory in a row, after a resumption of activity after a break due to the Corona virus, after defeating 2-0 at home to Roma on Sunday in the twenty-eighth stage.
The balance of Milan, who defeated Lecce in the last stage, rose to 42 points, to rise to seventh in the competition arrangement temporarily until the end of the remaining matches of the stage, achieving his twelfth victory in the championship during the current season against six draws and ten defeats.
On the other hand, Roma’s credit stuck at 48 points in fifth place, after receiving his eighth loss in the championship this season, against 14 wins and six draws.
The Croatian Ante Ribic opened the scoring for Milan in the 77th minute, while the Turkish Hacken Calhangulo added the second goal in the 89th minute from a penalty kick, to stop the Lombardi team winning the Roma streak, which continued in its last three matches in the competition.
The loss came as a painful blow to Roma’s hopes of snatching one of the European Champions League qualifying places next season, when he is six points behind Atalanta, the fourth-qualified player for the continental competition, who faces his Udinese host later today in the same stage.
