Wael Al Dahdouh: Al Jazeera Journalist Injured in Israeli Attack Returns to Reporting Despite Tragedy

Gaza: The Al Jazeera journalist who was injured in the Israeli missile attack on Khan Younis in Palestine is again in front of the camera with his reports. Al Jazeera’s Gaza City Bureau Chief Wael Al Dahdouh has returned to his duties despite the pain of his colleague’s departure. The attack happened while reporting the bomb attack on Palestinians from near Farhan School in Khan Younis yesterday.

Israel attacked Wail and cameraman Samir Abu Daqa. Abu Dakha, who was seriously injured in this, succumbed to his death while undergoing treatment. A video of Wail Al Dahdouh crying in front of his colleague who was killed in the Israeli attack was released earlier. After Abu Daq’s burial, Wa’il became active again. Wail Al Dahdouh explained what happened during the coverage at Farhana School in Khan Younis.

Wail returned to work with injured hands. Wael told the world on behalf of Al Jazeera about the attack that resulted in the death of his colleague. Wail is one of the leading journalists who are risking their lives to bring the information about the genocide carried out by Israel in Gaza to the outside world. Earlier, Wail’s family members were killed in an Israeli attack.

While bringing the plight of ordinary people in Gaza to the outside world, Wail’s family members were killed in the attack, causing great pain. The beloved, 15-year-old son, seven-year-old daughter and grandchild were killed in the attack on October 25. He was active again from the moment they were buried. The day before the death of family members, Wail and Samir Abu Dakha were attacked by Israeli missiles and Samir lost his life.
