The Ministry of Defense published a calendar for 2021 with samples of modern weapons, where for the first time it officially presented a photo of the Orion drone in a strike version with suspended high-precision bombs.
On picture on the website of the Ministry of Defense shows a reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial vehicle of long duration of flight “Orion”, created as part of the experimental design work “Walker”, with several suspended KAB-20 adjustable bombs. Such bombs have a mass of 21 kilograms, a high-explosive fragmentation warhead of seven kilograms, are equipped with satellite or laser homing systems and are intended for high-precision destruction of lightly armored vehicles and enemy personnel. The device has a desert camouflage in the calendar.
The agency’s calendar also includes photos of the Hunter heavy attack drone and the fifth generation Su-57 fighter, the Borey class submarine, the Proryv T-90M tank, the Armata BMP and other modern technology. RIA Novosti.
Also, the War Department published the calendar for 2021 with the slogans of the fighters of the special units of Russia. The calendar contains photographs of servicemen of special forces of the RF Armed Forces in various conditions of a combat situation. Each picture has a short motto. In particular, a photo of a combat swimmer emerging from the water with a knife is accompanied by the phrase “And cold steel warms the soul”, a snapshot of the crew of the Fagot anti-tank complex, located on the ridge of a sand dune, is entitled with the slogan “Advantage in firepower is a weighty argument in negotiations” , and the mortar commandos received the slogan “For the especially nasty – we are especially impudent!”
On the signing of the first serial contract for the supply of Orion drones between the Ministry of Defense and the Kronstadt company became known at the Army-2020 forum.
