– Do you think that VOX will get representation in the Torrelavega City Council?
We believe that VOX will enter the municipal corporation of the Torrelavega City Council with the support of a good number of residents. Our work on the street together with the neighbors has been very intense and the VOX electoral candidacy is made up of neighbors committed to the transformation of Torrelavega. VOX will undoubtedly become an important voice in the next municipal corporation.
– Why is the presence of VOX necessary?
VOX will be present at the Torrelavega municipal corporation on behalf of the residents who want a change in policies for the city. Only VOX is committed to policies to defend the general interest, away from ideologies and parties that for years have favored or allowed the decline and general paralysis of our city.
– What are the main needs of your municipality?
We need to recover the pride of a big city, we must bet on a change in the productive model that fixes our young people in their hometown, generating new job opportunities. We must recover the city for the people, so that our urban center is closer to the elderly and our neighborhoods are safe and prosperous, with quality local commerce. We must interweave the social relationship between neighbors, and bet on supporting the family as the axis of our community.
– And what are your proposals to address these needs?
We are committed to a program of concrete and courageous measures, putting the family at the center of our municipal policies with support measures for our elders, generating a quality urban space with great accessibility. We must recover the regional influence of Torrelavega in commerce, administrative services, social, cultural or leisure relations. In municipal management we will bet on transparency and budgetary control, with control measures that prevent new cases of corruption.
