MADRID, Apr 17 (EUROPA PRESS) –

You have registered in Congress a non-law proposal urging the Government to implement different benefits for medical students of recent years who have ‘signed up’ during the health crisis to fight against covid19, including that the rest of the studies they have left to study are free.

In the recorded text, collected by Europa Press, the training chaired by Santiago Abascal claims the need to “compensate the effort, the risk to health and altruism” of these young people who have put their grain of sand during the pandemic. In his opinion, these students have had an “exemplary” response to other groups also called to fight against the coronavirus, such as the released trade unions of the Health Service, which, according to Vox, has had a “low response”.

That is why, the training proposes that both medical and nursing students who have participated in this crisis can study their university studies for free, including the fees for the MIR exam (in the case of doctors) and the EIR (in the of nurses), as well as the exceptional scholarship system for the remaining credits of its study plan and curricular contents still to be formalized. In addition, they call for preferential access to Erasmus scholarships in all its forms.

NO CONTACT WITH CONTAGIATED PATIENTS

Vox also claims other benefits, in this case social, for these young people. Among his proposals to the Government, free public transport stands out, both urban, regional or national, so that they do not have to pay gyms or the cultural offer.

On the other hand, those of Abascal appeal to those responsible for Health so that these students do not occupy positions, during this crisis, in which they have to have contact with infected or suspected patients. In this sense, they also advise that they do not carry out asintential activities.
