Volvo XC40 Recharge is available for orders in Romania. How much does the Swedish SUV cost?

EIT-Forum Auto, the only importer of Volvo Cars on the Romanian market, announced the debut of orders for the new XC40 Recharge.

XC40 Recharge, derived from the small SUV XC40, is one of the best-selling models of the Scandinavian brand, being the first vehicle in the range of 100% electric Volvo models.

The new Volvo XV40 Recharge is offered in two engine versions. The first of these, the P6, offers a range of over 400 kilometers in the WLTP cycle and a power of 231 hp, which is delivered to the front axle. The second version, P8, offers all-wheel drive, the same autonomy, but a much higher power of 408 hp, which promises a sprint 0-100 km / h in just 4.9 seconds.

The battery that comes with the XC40 Recharge can be charged from 0% to 80% in 40 minutes using a 150 kWh DC fast charging system, regardless of the engine chosen.

The XC40 Recharge P6 variant has a starting price of 41,176 euros without VAT, while the XC40 Recharge P8 version costs from 48,319 euros without VAT. Both models include in the price the “Care” service package which consists of a three-year warranty, roadside assistance for the same period and a three-year service maintenance package. For a fee, customers can also opt for one CASCO insurance package for 36 months.

Also, thanks to the subsidy granted by the Ministry of Environment for the purchase of an electric vehicle, which is worth 45,000 lei, makes the XC40 Recharge a worthy option to consider in this increasingly crowded and demanding segment of the SUV- with zero emissions.

Volvo XC40 Recharge owners will be able to charge the car via a contactless recharging card or through the dedicated smartphone application via “Plugsurfing” in 38 countries in Europe. All costs and payments are processed monthly, without “Plugsurfing” conditioning customers with a subscription required to use this service.

Each model in the Volvo range also includes a Recharge version, the Scandinavian manufacturer being the only one in the car industry that offers a plug-in variant for each model in its range.
