After a defeat 3 sets to 1, the Finistériennes (7th) recorded their fifth defeat but remained far from the danger zone. It’s not for lack of a fight! The Étoile Saint-Laurent was exciting from the start of the game. Blonz on the maneuver, alternated the game perfectly and the attackers Paul and Goos were sharp. And as the collective defense was solid, the Brestoises took off and flew over this first act (25-13). On their way, they held the reaction Rezéen but ended up cracking in the money-time (25-22). Less applied in reception and therefore less fluid in their offensive game, the Bretons are heckled by the opposing counter which allows Rezé to take the lead (2-1). Under pressure on the opposing service, the Étoile Saint-Laurent took a gap at the start of the set (10-4 then 15-8). The experienced Dussot woke up her teammates and instilled a spirit of revolt. The Finistériennes returned to (22-18) after points thanks to their fighting spirit. But Rezé ensured the end of the round and concluded this match (25-20).
