Volkswagen’s press service showed images of the updated Tiguan and told about four trim levels. Prices and delivery times of cars from the Kaluga plant will become known later.
The crossover received new bumpers, an updated radiator grille, chrome moldings, as well as new headlights IQ Light and taillights with dynamic turning lights. As for the interior, there are new seat upholstery and trim colors, as well as multi-color ambient lighting.

In addition, Volkswagen has updated the multimedia system and digitalized climate control with touch controls and buttons. The Tiguan will feature new Ginger Brown and Indium Gray paint finishes, Noisette Brown seat upholstery and new wheels.

The novelty will be available with several petrol engines to choose from: 125 hp, 150 hp, 180 hp. and 220 hp. Motor 125 hp offered in combination with a manual transmission and front wheel drive. The 150-horsepower engine in combination with the “automatic” can be equipped with front or all-wheel drive. Engines with 180 and 220 hp also paired with an “automatic”, but the drive is only full.

The launch version, called Respect, “Tiguan” is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, black roof rails, LED headlights, as well as fabric seat upholstery and a heated leather steering wheel.

The car is equipped with heated front seats, 3-zone climate control, cruise control with speed limiter, electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, emergency braking assistant, Composition Color audio system with 6.5-inch touchscreen display and Bluetooth.

In the Status configuration, the car will receive silver roof rails, tinted rear windows and chrome glass edging. The cabin will have seats with adjustable lumbar support, a Discover Media audio system with an 8-inch touchscreen display and navigation.

As functional equipment, a reversing camera, AppConnect interface, front and rear parking sensors, heated windshield and washer nozzles, light, rain sensors and heated rear seats are offered.

The Tiguan Exclusive is available with 18-inch alloy wheels and LED spotlights, as well as chrome interior trims and an Active Info Display digital instrument cluster.

Also, “Tiguan” has a new top-end R-Line equipment. It is complemented by 19-inch alloy wheels, an oversized spoiler, an original bumper design, electrically adjustable leather seats with memory settings, and R-Line parts.
